Countdown To The Next Show

Well the countdown to my next fashion show has already started! I'm super excited to see my designs back on the runway again. I've decided to participate in RAW again because it has a great sense of community, and I always find so much inspiration at these independent shows. Last year I had 3 shows in Minneapolis, but this year I've decided to conquer a new city! A bigger city! More on that later!

I'm still developing my skills and talents with design so showcasing through RAW again in a new city is a smart move. At this stage I'm looking for more contacts within the fashion scene while I build my resume one show at a time. I do have a method to all this madness, but I think I'll let time unravel that plan. All I can say is that although I'm super excited for this showcase in Sept, I'm already getting giddy about 2015! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm the most impatient person on the face of the earth, but I need time on my side with all of this. If I want to chase after this dream then I have to make sure I'm chasing it the right way. One day at a time...one runway at a time. 

Six Month Review

Where has the year gone? I seriously can't believe it's already June. Since we're half way through the year, thought I'd check to see where I am with all my 2014 goals. So far I'm right on track! I've had multiple photo shoots, continued to expand my Rock Dollie line, and I've even been accepted into a fashion show. There's still a few more goals that I'm dying to meet...just give it time and I'll get there.With the next 6 months looking bright, I'm feeling more ambitious than ever. I got some fun things planned for AVCD! 

West Coast Style

My favorite part of running and building my clothing line is photo shoots. Putting models in my clothes, trekking across the city to find that perfect location, and SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! Taking that perfect picture is what it all comes down to after all the sewing, fitting, and styling. I might not be a pro at fashion photography, but it has become one of my passions.

The latest photo shoot was for my line Rock Dollie, and here are some of our 2014 summer looks! Kinda gives you a California vibe! I got mad love for the west coast, and I think that's evident with this line.
